At Desinmec for 4 years we have been using renewable energy for our production processes,
caring for the environment and promoting a production free of greenhouse gases.
Within the framework of our Social and Environmental Responsibility Policy, in April 2022 we expanded
our Photovoltaic Generator from 15 to 65 KVA, currently counting our generation plant
with 170 monocrystalline panels and 3 inverters in parallel connection to the supply network,
self-supplying more than 50% of the energy consumed by the company.
Our photovoltaic plant saves the planet the generation of 74 Tn of Carbon Dioxide
annually, which is roughly equivalent to planting 290 new trees in the same
annual period.
