our History

Desinmec Ingeniería began to shape its future in April 2005 in San Carlos Sud, when the two founding partners, their families, and their first employee started the makeover of a rented building with the aim of providing engineering services and manufacturing equipment for small and medium enterprises from the dairy and food industries. During that year, with the support and trust of a friend, the first Desinmec equipment, an innovative forage bagger, was designed and built. It was very hard at the beginning but, in 2006, our effort, perseverance, and spirit of work began to produce the first results, making the first sales and deliveries of equipment for the dairy, food, and chemical industries, achieving the goals set for this early stage. By the end of 2007, we bought a 4200 m2 plot of land with the idea of having an industrial plant of our own. The construction started at the beginning of 2008 and finished in April 2010 with 629 m2 built on its current location. In 2008, with high expectations, the first export to Brazil was made. Since then, there began an opening stage towards the foreign market, expanding the exports to Uruguay, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile, Guatemala, and the United States of America, so far. We also participated in trade fairs and trade missions in Argentina and neighbouring countries at first. In 2017, we got to exhibit at Interpack-Germany, the most important trade fair of the sector in the world.
During 2013, the second stage of the construction to add 1006 m2 to the industrial plant started. With the extension from 629 to 1635 m2 by 2014, we were able to work more efficiently. In the year 2005, the Argentinean Ministry of Foreign Affairs awarded Desinmec with the prestigious prize ExportAR for our «addition of innovation and/or added value to the product to be exported». In 2007, during the celebrations of the Argentinean Industry Day, we were also awarded the «Industrial Merit Prize» by the FISFE (Industrial Federation of Santa Fe). In 2016, we entered into a strategic alliance with Motoman Robotics (Japan) to add robotics to our packing solutions and also the ISO 9001 quality certification for «design, trade, manufacturing, and after-sales service for packing and packaging lines equipment». In 2019, we bought two adjoining plots of land of 8150 m2, achieving a total surface of 12350 m2. By the end of 2019, we started the third stage of the extension of the industrial plant to 1228 m2, which will allow Desinmec to have a total productive built surface of 2863 m2 by the next few months of 2020 to continue growing sustainably. At present, in 2020, the company’s team is made up of forty people at the plant and by sales representatives within Argentina and other countries in Latin America. «In every new project, we aim at the growth of our company, our place, and our country with the commitment and eagerness that define us since our beginnings.
